Live from the Old Port of Montréal. You’re looking at the site and promenade where close to seven million visitors come yearly to enjoy the spectacular scenery or stroll about on a sunny day. Stretching for 2.5 kilometres along the St. Lawrence River, the Old Port offers a profusion of outdoor activities, such as cruises, outings, exhibits, special events and street entertainment. And indoors, there’s always something going on, especially at the Montréal Science Centre and its IMAX^® Theatre. Admission to the site is free.

The Old Port Of Montréal has been the social, economic and cultural soul of the city ever since early French fur traders used it as a trading post in 1611. Today, the riverfront welcomes over seven million visitors per year. Here are some travel tips for getting to and around the old city.
